only two parties? But the liberal party in Canada was elected after making promises to pass electoral reform! Surely they wouldn’t break their promise so you have to vote for them right?
Well, sadly the alternative Conservatives are still the worse option despite the lack of kept promises from the Liberals. And depending on your specific running unfortunately sometimes the only option you have is to vote Liberal to attempt to unseat that ridings conservative. Or just not vote at all, which also just results in a conservative win. At least it’s a different guy at the helm this time I guess. We’ll see if that makes a difference.
I have little knowledge of Romanian politics, but it does seem that in this presidential race, Nicușor Dan does have some serious track record from his time as mayor of Bucharest.
Yes, but the propaganda says that he’s backed by “the system”, so it doesn’t matter. He’s still a conservative and has his issues, but he does seem to want to do good things and work to solve some of the corruption issues. We shall see what he can do.
“All politicians are the same” they say while always voting for the two same parties that happen to be the closest on the political spectrum.
Not only always voting within the two same parties, but actively voting for the worse of the two. Which is typically how things go here in Canada too.

They wanted to implement a system where they would always have been people’s first or second choice so they would have ended up winning every time
