FBI agents assigned earlier this year to review investigative files in the criminal case against notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were instructed to “flag” any documents that mentioned President Donald Trump, Sen. Richard Durbin said Friday.
Durbin’s claim came in letters the Illinois Democrat sent to the Justice Department and FBI asking them to explain discrepancies between past statements about a promised release of the Epstein files and findings from a July 7 Justice Department memo, which said no such release would happen.
Hmm, so in March they reassign hundreds of agents to the task of “flagging” mentions of Trump. So, a shit ton of documents here. And now, there are no noteworthy documents to release at all. So Trump was in every noteworthy document related to the entire Epstein investigation, is what I’m hearing.
They’re going to produce doctored documents with the name of political opponents and have them dragged off in unmarked vans.

Flagging documents related to an ongoing criminal investigation involving the President of the US is a completely appropriate action. What happens to the flagged documents is a different matter.
I would also consider the President being involved at all in an ongoing criminal investigation into a child sex trafficking ring as a giant fucking red flag but that’s just me.

To be clear, the reason Fox News and dozens of other right wing propaganda outlets exist is precisely because the news coverage made anything else untenable for Nixon.

The alphabet agencies have destroyed incriminating documents in the past and only a tiny fraction of such documents were accidentally preserved. This is in regard to the state becoming involved in the drug trade, human experimentation, and in the mind control business. Now it seems they will be doing something similar for the state sanctioned sexual abuse of children
