    FDR wanted social security to be this, and Medicare to be for everyone…

    The “moderates” at the time kept telling him it had to be looked into more, and 80 years later Biden kept saying the same thing

    It’s what they’ll always keep saying, it’s why we can’t keep wasting time electing them, we need people who actually want to fix shit.

    No way in hell this passes but it would be nice.

    Was already resigned to the fact I would never get to retire and probably die working but every now and then I had a sliver of hope I’d get a few years. If the vultures get hold of my 401k I’ll probably just stop contributing. Be better off buying power ball tickets with the money.
