Black cats are the best cats, I grew up with an amazing black cat, she was a mix of siamese, Norwegian forrest cat and Swedish farm cat. Short but very compact fur, with tuffs of fur on top of her ears.

She wasn’t a knee cat, hated sitting in you lap, but she liked company and was a caring cat, if you were crying she would lie down next to you and purr like crazy, we had a pool and if you dove under water she would meow concerned.

She liked to accompany us on walks, but only as far as her territory permitted, then she’d stop and start almost yelling at us to come back, I mean, her meow carried for almost a full block of houses.

She was also an excellent huntress, here in Sweden, cats have a legal right to be outside, and we had a lot of fieldfares, she killed so many that they started bombing her with poop as soon as they saw her…

She caught several mice as well, and even one brought home the tail of a squirrel.

She had a good life, we built an extension on the house and she always had new places to explore.
