I got myself a cat a few months after my mother died. All I was doing was going to work and coming home. I didn’t feel like doing anything. I figured if I had a cat I’d have to get them food, and I’d be obligated to keep myself going.
Go out and find someone else to help. Walk a neighbor’s dog
Sitting online isn’t going to help as much as getting out of the house will.

I just went on a heroic mission to the local shop and bought cat food! Best I can do today
