Did anyone else find Dustin Hoffman/Hook a very threatening character? I mean, legendary actor stretching his skills in a challenging yet classic theater role, yes, but did I notice that, as a kid? No. Maybe that’s why it flopped, the target demographic was running for the doors… was Hook intended to be comic?
All I know is that he and Smee were just an old gay couple working through a mid-life crisis.

Yeah, I found him pretty threatening when I saw that movie as a kid. Dustin Hoffman did an incredible job.
