If someone, who suffers under his actions, beats him up - totally understandable. And that people who are suffering are applauding. Sure, human nature. But still: Nobody deserves to be undignifyied.

Careful now, if your head gets any bigger you’ll risk getting all top heavy and falling off your high horse, and that would be undignified!

Seriously, why is celebrating people standing up to a truly abhorrent actor somehow problematic for you? Even the most thoughtless argument in it’s favor, that “fascists might be dissuaded by seeing there are actual consequences for their actions”, is preeeetty goddamn valid. I think you might want to unpack why you’re more eager to defend the “dIgNiTy” of a fascist POS than celebrate the introduction of positive reinforcement in said fascist’s life. Is it really important to you that this shitstain’s honor be defended? You don’t think the fascists don’t have apologists enough already, you just have to throw your support in with their cause?

I felt several times and will certainly fall in the future. Thats human nature. But this wont keep me from believing in universial human rights

Just glossing over the whole “fall off your high horse” thing: Man it kinda feels like there’s a lot you should be unpacking here.

For example, conflating fascist apologia as a facet of a desire for universal human rights is some worryingly impressive mental gymnastics. Are you sure the negative reaction your opinion has received isn’t driving you to entrench yourself so deep into your philosophical position that you’re losing sight of the values you held initially? That’s a trap I see well meaning people fall into not infrequently, when they misjudge the depth of feeling other people hold for an issue, or present a petition for peace & love without realizing how smugly condescending it might come across. Seriously, why’re you behaving like this?

No, there are no metal gymnastics needed. There are some basics rights that should always be respected. Even if your fighting the big-time-nazi-scum-arseholes.
