Unfortunately, the average American doesn’t fall under this category, and there’s an alarmingly significant portion of our populace who are very much okay with the Nazi shit. They voted for the Nazi shit.

Yes, Vance is a much more dangerous Nazi than Trump, because he’s intelligent.
But Vance has the charisma of a wet mop, and at the moment, the Trump regime isn’t quite entrenched enough to survive on fear alone - which is the only way Vance could take over and stay in power. For the moment, the regime still needs Trumps’ populism, whatever remains of it.
If Trump falls tomorrow, there’s a very good chance that the entire fascist shitshow will collapse and Vance will be flushed with it. But it won’t take long for the regime to be in a position to survive without Trump. So hopefully the Epstein thing will be his undoing sooner rather than later.
What he has going for him is that he can be an off-ramp for Trump supporters. He could fill the void left by Trump and Trump supporters won’t have to do any introspection, change sides to democrats.
