Are you guys not on the same side of the argument? Not about the buttholes and their expulsions, but about where forums/message boards rank versus Facebook.
If, like all things, it’s a gradient, I’d plop these message boards far left of the likes of Myspace, and xanga, etc.
That’s not the point of contention. It’s about whether or not forums/message boards (regardless of political ideology) can correctly be categorized as “social media”.
They wrongly contend that not only is that possible but in fact inarguably correct.
I, on the other hand, correctly pointed out the ridiculousness of such a claim.
This in turn made them jump to the separate incorrect conclusion that my slightly brusque wordplay was proof positive that I was overcome with apoplectic fits of all-consuming rage and that fondling lawn trimmings would be an effective remedy.
TL;DR: It’s all very silly and inconsequential, but I’m having fun 😄
