Lmao I’m sure all those struggling people unable to find decent work would turn down a job if it paid decent and working conditions were adequate. Fucking lazy poor people…

Poor people will not get adequate working conditions because the boss can hire illegals and threaten to just call immigration.

That is why the bosses are exciting idiots against immigrants with all their medias. They know damn well you cannot eradicate a whole ethnicity, nor stop human flows without atrocities, but as long as the idiots keep whining about immigrants, they will get the cheap labour.

The social-nationalists are just digging their own graves, really.

You could make it economically unviable to employers by having really tough fines and punishments for employing illegal immigrants. That way you can make it too risky and undesirable for the employer to abuse the immigrants and give local workers a much better chance at achieving good working conditions and pay.

This system where employers abuse both the legal immigration and illegal to screw over local workers is ridiculous.

You don’t think there’s successful brown countries that are dealing with immigration issues of their own? Bruh. The issues workers face have nothing to do with skin colour.

And if you have no rules on immigration, you sure kill off the issue of illegal immigrants sure but it doesn’t do anything about the influx of people fresh into the country, coming from poorer conditions and hence easier to take advantage of and willing to work for less and in worse conditions. And that will cause employers to employ them instead of their current workforce.

Sucks especially in places with high unionization, since immigrants are in general much less likely to be unionized. It’s a good way to break the power of unions

Because it’s still more than what they used to make and it’s the way to get hired. I’m not sure if you’re kidding or not but look into how much immigrants on average (even without counting illegal immigrants) are paid compared to local workers.

Might also want to check what the unionization rares are generally.

Ah yeah unions are a reason to justify ethnic clainsing.

You’re a scum and you’re too stupid your existence is a net negative.

Fighting for workers as long as they have the right kind of papers, supporting segregation and still thinking you’re against the bosses, those things are deranged.

yes, exactly. and then what do those poor lazy people do when prices on all those goods rise because of the increased labor costs? the exact same situation all over again.

Oh no not increased labour costs, clearly abusive working conditions are better than having to pay more for labour. If you can’t do affordable strawberries without using illegal immigrants as your workforce then I’d say we probably should do without affordable strawberries.

we’re not just talking about strawberries. we’re talking about literally all food production. construction. service industries. landscaping. it’s simply a fantasy to think we could “do without” all that stuff or kick out all of the people doing these jobs and magically fill the positions with out of work citizens. the unemployment rate is already about as low as it could be at 4.1%.

Somehow other countries manage without abusing illegal immigrantion on such a massive scale. Hell, some places have all those workers unionized.

Opening borders is a good way to ensure decent working conditions are never achieved since there’s a constant influx of people coming in willing to work for less. And you royally screw over the workers who are already living there.

Might suck for the origin country too if all the people are drained from there to work abroad. But that’s a larger topic.

You threat the wealth gap between poor and rich country as if it was unsolvable and fatality, which is inherently racist. People who come aren’t weights and the only reason why they’re forced to undersell themselves is because of social stigma and segregation.

I don’t think it’s unsolvable, plenty of countries have gone from poor to rich and some have gone the opposite way.

How is it racist, do you think only certain races are rich right now or what? Wealth isn’t tied to skin colour

More people also means more consumers and more people paying for stuff. Your racist idea of the third world being baby factories is deeply disturbing.

Just say you want to keep your first world privilege of being rich thanks to colonization.

What baby factories are you talking about?

More people also means more consumers and more people paying for stuff.

I’m sure the owning class are happy about that but does nothing for workers, other than forcing them to fight for those jobs with people willing to take lower pay and suffer shittier conditions. But line must go up.
