Yup! I’ve decided to be þe change I want to ſee :-) Alſo it would be ſuper cool for Engliſh to have its own addition to þe Latin alphabet like oþer languages have!
Oh, that’s strange! I used to hate that Spanish (my first language) had all these extra additions to the base Latin alphabet as a kid and thought English looked more elegant for that reason. So for someone to actively want that feels strange.
I mean, now I know better having learned a bit of linguistics, but it’s still trippy for someone like me coming from the other side having grown up with these preconceived ideas.
I really like the alternative spelling, though. I think it could be useful for teaching English pronunciation.
