Do you remember the 2020 primary though? Obama called all of the non-Bernie candidates and told them to drop out. They all did and supported Biden.

Sanders won the first 3 primaries in a row and then the establishment freaked out and all fell in line behind Biden.

Okay but before the primaries ended Biden had literally double the votes of Bernie, it wasn’t exactly a close race.

The other candidates gave Biden their delegates. Bernie won the first three primaries and then Obama put his thumb on the scale, just like he did in 2016 with Hillary, convincing/strong arming others to stay out of the race. Obama is to blame for fucking with the primary process for at least 2 out of the last 3 elections, not that Kamala getting put in at the last minute wasn’t also manipulation. Dems haven’t had a free and open primary since 2008.

Okay but he didn’t win by Delegates alone he HAD DOUBLE THE VOTES. Real votes, from millions of individual people.

Yeah, Sanders lost in 2020 just like he did in 2016

I remember that really pissing Trump off because he was pushing hard to run against him.

I don’t think Trump was pushing for Sanders because Trump thought it’d be a harder fight to win.
