I told my dog I’m going to lay off sharing my food with her, because I think eating too much of whatever crap I was eating was starting to affect her health; I noticed her licking the air, which is a sign of nausea. She now believes I don’t love her anymore and howls mournfully whenever I am eating. 🤦‍♂️

My one dog has been sick for a few days, so she’s on a special diet which happens to include novelties like boiled chicken or fish. My other dog looks at me like I’ve betrayed her every time I feed the sick dog a bunch of chicken or fish with rice and she gets kibble with just a bit of chicken or fish on it.

Lol our dogs are in a similar situation. One dog had a tooth pulled and gets to eat wet food, and the other dog inhales her food and then looks at us like “wtf is this”.

I did give her like 1/3 of a scoop as consolation shortly after this, which should still fit her diet and get rid of the guilt trip (for now).
