It’s not just the 4th of July. Assholes here sell and set off fireworks for any possible holiday.
Edit: I love fireworks. I love watching the huge shows and setting them off myself. I don’t like hearing them at 3am on Christmas morning. Or the three days leading up. Or the next month of random explosions until they pick up again for the new year, of which is when they should be used. But then they continue until they’re sold again for valentines day. Once again, I love fireworks, just not to celebrate the existence of Wednesday.

I live in a vacation town where fireworks are illegal and I can hear them basically every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
But… that’s illegal!
Nah, they made it legal where I’m at, and now there are fireworks tents out for any holiday.
