The problem is, the people who wrote the 14th amendment didn’t specify how that is supposed to be enforced.
Criminal conviction? Well trump was only convicted of a state charge of fraud, not insurrection.
Simple majority of congress? Republican congress could just ban democrats.
2/3 Supermajority of congress? It’ll never pass
Supreme court? Well, a majority of them is republican.
If its too easy to invoke it, it could be weaponized against progressive candidates. They’d just declare BLM protests as “insurrection” and ban them from the ballot.
No, but every rental unit in the US is now owned by Musk. 🙃
That’s the double edge sword of a lifetime apppintment, they are beholden to no one after getting appointed (nothing short of a 2/3 senate conviction or illegal autocoups)
Our research shows that phone scammers often try to trick people into performing specific actions to initiate a scam, like changing default device security settings or granting elevated permissions to an app. These actions can result in spying, fraud, and other abuse by giving an attacker deeper access to your device and data. To combat phone scammers, we’re working to block specific actions and warn you of these sophisticated attempts. This happens completely on device and is applied only with conversations with non-contacts.
Android’s new in-call protections1 provide an additional layer of defense, preventing you from taking risky security actions during a call like:
- Disabling Google Play Protect, Android’s built-in security protection, that is on by default and continuously scans for malicious app behavior, no matter the download source.
- Sideloading an app for the first time from a web browser, messaging app or other source – which may not have been vetted for security and privacy by Google.
- Granting accessibility permissions, which can give a newly downloaded malicious app access to gain control over the user’s device and steal sensitive/private data, like banking information.
Bruh, if you are falling for simple stuff like a stanger telling you to chance settings over a phone call, you’re cooked.
No “protection” can save you.

There, is there anything else I can do for you?
Its forced assimulation just like what the US did to the natives of America. If what the US did was genocide (it is), then what PRC is doing to Xinjiang and Tibet is also genocide.
I think you might have an old budger phone.
Budget phones are notorious for having very inaccurate GPS antennas, so the locations would be wild all over the place (I know from experience). If you used such a phone, you’d assume that you need internet for GPS, which isn’t true. (I had thay assumption once) GPS is a separate part of your phone, and should be reliable even without internet.
Midrange phones should have a reliable enough GPS, and perhaps even budget ones, if it’s modern enough and from a reputable manufacurer.
Since you mentioned the US, you can go to Bestbuy and just look though their GPS units, they are anywhere from $50 to $200, those standalone units should be the most reliable, but for those, you’ll need to update the maps via a computer frequently, or you might end up getting directions through a road that might not exist anymore.
Or just any modern phone with a local pre-downloaded map would work as well, although phone GPS is slightly less accurate than a standalone GPS unit. Phone maps would be easier to update, becaude you don’t need to download extra software or connect to a computer.
Cash me c/outside, how 'bout dat?
That’s good, until you have family members that need to contact you for something.
And worse case scenario, you won’t be there for a loved one and make important medical decisions as their next-of-kin.
That’s the whole point of a phone, to act as a communications device.
I think the only solutions to this is bringing back the pagers. With the Standard Operating Procedure be having airplane mode on all the time, with a receive-only device that will alert you if someone want to contact you.
You forgot the bullet points
Now sure how much they are really in charge.
A pope can tell christians to be “compassionate” and yet we still see all the xenophobia and racism. Seems like they have no influence whatsoever.
AI really hate my townhall, huh?
(Location data default of the middle of a city/town, IP address doesn’t reveal your exact location)
Google is not the only thing you have to worry about. Your phone carrier can also have erroneous location data.
I read this more of a cops being shitty story.
If you don’t have location turned off and all cell radios off all the time, you are also at risk.
Next time it’ll be Terrorist Children
I trust my cat to not bite me while petting the belly more than an oligarch.
(My cat actually doesn’t bite when I pet the belly, most of the tine)
AI isn’t real, Cats are real, warm, soft.
Cat is love, Cat is life.
Is this Anime Futurama?
(Seriously, wtf is this shit?)
Edit: Lol okay, they did a weird episode.
Futurama is gonna look so funny if they actually committed to doing Japanese-Style Animation for future episodes 🤣, like it’d be comedy gold.
Instructions unclear, accidentally placed a cat on top of King Charles III
That reminds me:
What the fuck does a “Pope” do? (rhetorical question)
They don’t even have a country to ceremonially rule over 🤣
Yea, this is a horror movie.
I wanna go to a different parallel universe without this shit.
