That’s quite a big umbrella. You don’t have to pay labels to pay artists. Plenty of artists release HOURS upon HOURS of high quality COMMERCIAL FREE underground bass / drum and bass / jungle / etc. You just have to know where to look.
I’m a bass aggregator for my local music scene and here are some artists putting out absolutely high quality shit free to you on the regular: https://odysee.com/@shades:3/liquidSoulBirthday089-4hr20min:6 https://odysee.com/@shades:3/fullcornmoonweek37:1
I plug into the mixer after about 5 minutes in the first link and 10 in the second. Please go pay your local artists and stop listening to cookie cutter produced for the masses music. It’s so much more rewarding when your favorite artists recognize your face and remember your name.

How can we provide content creators a safety net whom we as fans enjoy their content but said artists need to have their name and face out in the open? Particularly music artists/DJs/independent artists/etc?
I swear, anyone wanting privacy, just start calling yourself an artist and boom suddenly nobody can find any information about you! You don’t even have to be serious about it, just take a crayola to a bar napkin… /s

Doesn’t need to be a government issued ID iirc, also doesn’t have to be issued by the country you are trying to purchase it in.

Let me get that right. What you’re proposing is that every human is a burlap $ack full of $$$ if not ruined by cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, or cancer from micro plastics is to be given away for free with zero compensation to the grieving family and all $xx,xxx to $xxx, xxx profits for said sold organ going to some executive?
¡Fuuuuuuuuck that shit!
¿You think this kid’s knee or kidney is gonna pay for someone not in this blood line’s Ferrari?
¡You’re out of your god damn mind!
My next of kin get market value of that organ or my shit gets burnt to ash and pressed into vinyl records so I can continue going to raves even after I am dead.

“So, just like the 9/11 hijacking changes everything about how people respond to a hijacking event, this changes everything about answering your door. You see someone dressed as a cop at your door, you don’t answer the door. You call 911, then have then identify the name and badge number of the cop at your door and you don’t answer the door until 911 acknowledges its a real cop at the door.”
IDK about you but after you don’t answer the door, I wouldn’t be calling 911, I’d be playing possum with a fucking loaded gun waiting to go off if the front door opens or waiting for them to leave. The guy didn’t say he had a warrant, and if the police have a warrant just one cop isn’t going to be there, it’ll be a Pride of LEOs.

“Cool. I think he should piss on the 3rd rail.”
¿What the hell? It’s right there in the title, letting users OPT INTO IT as in not in the company’s discretion forced upon everyone but allowing the user to set their tolerance levels. As long as it can be set to 0 why’s this a bad thing?
Forcing moderation ONTO everyone is vehemently opposed.
¿Why the fuck would anyone want to prevent an AI from filtering out nazi/csam from their own feeds?
He’s thought of a clever way to offload the responsibility/burden of the platform/service allowing speech on it. It allows people who don’t want to see triggering content to not see it, without having to involve some third party that gets PTSD from filtering out all the vile shit humanity has to offer.
