I’m doing research on self-hosted solutions as we speak. Here’s a comparison table of many different options. I’ve settled on Immich and am just about to start setting it up now.

Touchpad buttons with dedicated middle-mouse-button

I miss touchpad buttons. I especially missed them on my last thinkpad t440s (RIP). That thing was mushy garbage. You could swap it out, but I didn’t end up using it enough to be bothered.

My work macbook won’t even let me mount an external storage device, but it doesn’t seem to care about my nextcloud client running in the background. Sorry for my blasphemous behaviour my cyber security comrades 🫡🥺

Call it whatever the fuck you want. It’s working 100 million times better than this shit we’re doing. It’s lead to the most rapid increase of quality of life in human history for it’s people. Do you really think they care what you think about their government not being socialist enough?

Poverty is not socialism. To uphold socialism, a socialism that is to be superior to capitalism, it is imperative first and foremost to eliminate poverty.
