Honestly, I’ll vote for them. But they disgust me with all their power struggle about who’s going to be prime minister. In doing so, they’re tearing apart the whole thing. They swore that they wouldn’t betray us. They’re betraying us everyday by showing everybody it’s just a struggle between egos. They’re paving the way for the far right too with this ridiculous display of inflated heads.

I’ll vote for them, then I’ll puke. The only frontliner I’m feeling like supporting in the future is, maybe, Manon Aubry.

France is becoming a far right country on two weeks. Do yourself a favor and stay as far as you can.

I know it exists, but I’m so happy to buy a game I’ve played and finish. Pyre, Transistor, A story beside and so many others. Just as a “Thank you”.

Ah, no, not at all sorry. As you may have guessed, I’m not located on an English speaking country, so I may not phrase my thoughts well. My message was an echo to yours, I was referring to insults towards the newer generation in general. My starting point echoed yours : I rarely hear those, but when I do, this utter disbelief kicks in. I hope that clarifies my point!

Millennial teacher here ('85). I have seen it two or three times maybe. But from people who just basically wanted to complain about everything.

I’m in utter disbelief whenever I hear this kind of comment. The young generation is fantastic, and I just hope they’ll keep their resolve to revolt and Wil manage to avoid the traps our generations fell into.

Older people like me should never judge the young. We should either help them, root for them or apologize to them (what a world we welcome them in…).

Well, as a sociology teacher working with psychologists in my current research I get why they decide this.

Politicians like them can’t rule over people even slighty aware of how political discourse and mass manipulation operate.

Well, after giving it a second thought, I suppose Lemmy may be small enough to avoid be targeted with both domestic and foreign efforts to favor Trump by having part of left demographics abstain.

If that’s indeed the case, there’s nothing I agree with in the suggested rule.

Voting/Abstention can be manufactured to a certain point. But if we take that away, it’s a matter of strategy. I’ve always been an abstentionist.
