I’ve had the most issues with adapters which use ASMedia chips but they’re so ubiquitous in these devices they’re impossible to avoid. Try googling the ASMedia chip model number to see if people report issues before buying if it’s data you care about.

1·8 months agoVaguely remember that the dual stack firmware wasn’t being developed anymore and was deprecated.
The dual stack firmware was deprecated because of issues, I believe.
