The data leak is of AADHAR database. Which is a proof of identity that is required by everyone to avail government services. It is even used for SIM registration and opening bank account.

Government has been recently trying to link Voter IDs to AADHAR. It is already linked to Tax Account called PAN.

It has been turned it to a surveillance tool and this leak can be huge if true.

That’s just one specific issue. It doesn’t mean that the whole plasma wayland session is a pain. Been using it for more than a year now.

The conflict was triggered when the state High Court gave a verdict in favour of the Meiti community for a long standing demand for special previliges.

First they went after Vanced, now Invidious. With the ongoing recession, companies are realising that less and less people would be be willing to pay for subscriptions and to increase their revenue they are going to tie all the loose ends they have allowed over the years.
