I had to recently unsubscribe from Rossman’s channel because I can’t stand the constant complaining and negativity. I don’t disagree with him but this kind of content just poisons my mind.

My 17 year old truck has all the features I need from a vehicle. If I can just keep it running I have no desire to upgrade it in the foreseeable future. Even if I had infinite money I’d probably just get one with lower mileage and upgrade it with offroad accessories and stuff. I have basically zero interest in new cars.

When I was still in school they paid me like 50 euros a week to help with grocery bills and they backed my mortage but other than that not really. I’ve been on my own for more than 15 years and I’m doing pretty good financially. I recently went from an employee to running my own bussines so currently my income is pretty much on par with my expenses but I’ve got quite substantial savings so I’m not particularly worried. I’m 33 years old.

I wonder why car tires don’t have sealant in them like tubeless bike tires. You can drive over nails and they seal themselves.

I wore baggy jeans and oversized hoodies in the early 2000’s. That’s pretty much the last time I “followed a trend” that I can think of though there probably are other occasions too that just don’t come to mind now. Most of the time I get into things either before they were cool or way after the wave has already passed.

I prefer 1080p but if not available then 720p is perfectly fine as well. 4k is overkill and I don’t even have a monitor that could play it at native resolution. Where I do prefer “lower quality” though is framerate. I don’t like how 60fps looks so I force YouTube to play videos at 24fps.
