Obviously don’t know the exact circumstances. But I would really expect a team like Red Bull to not be driven to panic by 1 driver. If he asked for it, then they should have denied him.

This time, I honestly can’t blame him. Being put completely at the front was the worst position to be in, and that is on the team.
The previous 4 races though, those are on him, and are embarrassing as fuck.
Well, after 2 FP-sessions, it looks like a tenth or two slower…
If I understand correctly, that is a F2-car, made to look like an F1-car, so the aero is fucked up and the power is down compared to the other cars.
No way that that can go wrong right?
Car number 7…
Is that you, Kimi?

Que Will Buxton:
There are times * dramatic pause * where a team principal just has to put his foot down…
After pushing your teammate on the wet grass, you can’t expect him to not do something in return.
Sort of “collect all Merc reserves”? After picking up Nyck?
I’m going to say something crazy.
Hulkenberg.
Especially since he did not even have to push to the limit in the RBR to get into Q3. Same with Monaco, he did pushed everything out of the car, in Q1…
Or just plain old sandbagging with a lower engine-mode.
Honestly, I’m thinking the same.
I’m guessing 50/50 on the hopium and copium…
Ferrari set their times on softs, Max on mediums.
Okay, this will certainly fuel all the speculations on the uncertainty of his seat…
It is a sprint-weekend, which is not Red Bulls strongest point. Max will still win most probably, but you never know.
Poof, that’s a lot of pain you’ve gone through all those years.
I’ve always been mainly a fan of the sport as a whole. Jos Verstappen got me into it when he was driving at Benneton next to Michael, and I’ve always stuck around since.
I’ve always been a fan of drivers that do really nice things with the car. Alonso, Vettel, Raikkonen, Hamilton, and (obviously as a Dutchman, but otherwise it would have been the same) Max.
Team-wise, I’ve always had (and still do) a soft spot for Williams. Mostly sentimental, because up until shortly they were a family-run team. But other than that it’s not really specific teams that I support.
He an Max put in laps mere seconds from each other. Max was 1.4 seconds faster. That is just plain embarrassing in the same car.
