It’s fun if you like Rust and ECS. API design is very ergonomic and gives you a lot of control.
But the engine is a bit immature. So I would generally suggest to stick with Godot for now, it’s a great engine as well.
I used “Project” to emphasis the the name is temporary. Yes, I also like “Harmonia”, but such game already exists 😢
Ah, I didn’t know!
Ah, sorry, I realized that fish
is already installed by default. Same about zsh
. So no additional steps needed, I just changed my default shell for my user and it works.
One does not exclude the other. You can have a fancy name and a semantic versioning.

Of course! I was just joking.
Can’t wait to review PRs from my Mastodon or Lemmy account 😁
Are there plans for it? Sounds awesome!
Why did half the world decide SMS needed to be replaced with a proprietary app
SMS is even worse in terms of openness. You won’t find a modem that runs open source baseband firmware. It’s because the radios are subject to several regulations which means customers can’t be able to modify that firmware.
Very cool!! I’ll have to check it out! How long have you been working on it?
Way longer then I would like to 😅 2+ years. But I have a full-time job, so I working on it in my free time when I’m in the mood. And I accelerated in the development only recently. Posting helps a lot with the motivation.
I’m slowly starting to work on my own game project as well. I want to make a first person horror game.
Good luck in your endeavor, I’d love to see posts about it!
It’s intended! In such windows, this position of the handle opens the window for micro-ventilation.
Thanks! It’s a WIP life simulation game under the working title Project Harmonia. It’s open source, but not currently playable.
I post game footage in [email protected].
Ah, you probably right, I think it’s more common.
I personally run ArchLinux on my PinePhone.
I think when people say “Linux phone” they mean GNU/Linux.
What do you use to browse Lemmy?
Having a device that could stream only from PS5 for 200$ is not a good value. And the limitation is artificial.
You can buy a handheld that could do the same, while also stream from your own PC and run games and emulators natively. Or you can buy something like Backbone One for your phone. They won’t have haptic feedback, but the controls still be good and you won’t be limited only to PS5.
HotA is awesome!
But the best way to play it is to use VCMI. It’s an open source re-implementation of the original game for the modern hardware. It also have a built-in launcher which asks you automatically download HotA or WoG after the first start. You can also install other mods from it. So convenient.
I play Stardew Valley on mine :)
