  • These days arcades are more pinball focused and it has saved the arcade industry in the US at least. I’m one of the people who uses the Pinball map app and tries to go play pinball anywhere I go. Many arcades have opened in the past 5 years and are doing well. People are tired of being at home from covid, and the social aspect is amazing and the community is very open and kind.

Most people can’t afford a $7,000-15,000 pinball machine, so they go out and pay 50 cents to a dollar per game and have fun for a couple hours.

I’m actually going to an arcade today in my city that is one of 3 huge ones within a 45 minute drive. Over 35 pinball machines and 50 arcade games, many are imported from Japan and are Amazing!!

  • Original equipment if possible. Once I replaced my TV with a new crappy smart TV, my retro consoles obviously wouldn’t work. A $25 insignia upscaler from best buy has solved all those problems except for PS2 since it’s native resolution is hard to convert to digital, so it looks like crap. All other consoles look fine and saved me $300 compared to a retrotink. Otherwise it’s all on my modded Wii or Xbox 360.

  • The reporting function doesn’t work, just like the appeals don’t work. Reddit is trying to get rid of anyone who provides content, but not to their standard. Permabans are the easiest way to discourage us from coming back. Banning your IP and MAC address takes it a step further and is another reason why many people are confused and frustrated.

Honestly, being permabanned is the best thing for me. I hated reddit, but it was the only option i had known of. They constantly push ad’s onto you and those stupid “He gets us” jesus propaganda ad’s.

I got permabanned for questioning the presidents health, you are not allowed to question their king.
