I’m with you, I got into Lemmy and am seeing this for the first time. I’m assuming it’s some touristic attraction

I just realized somebody needs to archive that post before it gets deleted somehow
If you mean the servers you could use something open source like bitwarden and just not use their online service, you can host your own server or use it locally.
Have you tried looking on itch.io? I recently got a few games from there (some are hosted on the play store but not all)
Only bad thing about browsing is that 80% of the games seem to be dating sims or visual novels (which is fine if you’re looking for that, but annoying if you’re not)
Edit: infidhells seems really fun, but haven’t had time to play much, to use all the gameplay features it’s worth playing with the sound on (though it has accessibility options for playing without audio).
Anyone who actually needs to know that info
Yeah, it’s a forum, it should be more like a cafe in terms of anyone talking to anyone, regardless of who that person is.
For big personalities and stuff every time it mattered in reddit, I saw proof that they’re them (ama’s usually)
/dragonsfuckingcars and /r/carsfuckingdragons I just need them to exist
I’ve noticed a large portion of the posts in Lemmy are haphazardly cropped into squares, is a Lemmy reader app in particular that does that to submitted images?
I’m pragmatic, as long as it’s easy on the eyes and conducive to read (in the sense in which you “read” an image, can’t think of a better word), I’m good. I have always tended to cram everything and the kitchen sink in one screen and the push for material you has taught me the importance of a clean composition.
For now I’m good, but I’m open to change.
How is the us a real place wtf?
I’m lost, i know about the sexy John Oliver but what happened with the porn?
I think for most it was just a feel-good move, like carbon offsetting or belittling people for using plastic straws, once the idea of getting serious about it was put on the table, suddenly people started rationalizing the abandonment of any “efforts” they made.
I don’t think anyone changed their minds aside from maybe a few honest and naive folks (I might be one, didn’t think twice about how pointless it was to promise I’d be back until I saw a video from Luis Rossman slapping me with reality, though I was planning on an indefinite blackout because that’s what I thought the plan .)
American English maybe, some parts of the uk and Irish do sound very aggressive
