LLMs are much easier to understand than the people selling them want to pretend. If that’s news to anybody, perhaps see if you can spot the similarities between ‘paper fortune teller’ logic and the models described here.

You haven’t truly tasted victory in your gaming life until you sink Rodan the first time. Downing a big bandit in XCOM comes close, but you won’t get it until you play it.
Take a swing then, don’t come and tell us.
Any time someone in a propaganda article says “use AI or get left behind” I just sorta lean back, look at the state of things. It isn’t even a hopeful grift. Reminds me of false prophets doing tent revivals in the colonies, but they’re not offering heaven, they’re pretending there will be a world left that’s worth being rich in.
William Henry Harrison should have ate it at Tippecanoe but at least he corrected his misstep during his first month in office
the number of credulous corpo bootlickers, even on indie social media, is deeply demoralizing
it’s important we just keep practicing the arts and ignore the self-styled consumers
consumer normies don’t really contribute anything to these conversations but i can’t exactly tag a post “don’t bother replying if you believe in capitalism”
I didn’t introduce the analogy so I’m not invested in it. I disagree with your opinions so maybe that’s what you’re reading as hostility.
What? No? Its just a general term for horse work as far as I know. I was trying not to demean people who work with animals.
Thanks for your comments. Say, what industry do you work in? How’s your retirement fund looking?
Lmfao, perish the thought
Yeah I immediately disregard all AI propaganda that references “Her.” This is for rubes and suckers.
We absolutely do not need another investor-brained corpo games publisher on the scene, especially not one trying to buy up old IP. Buying status symbol brand names is a huge red flag.
she was very clear who she is, it is the only thing we know about her
Mr. Hahnloser, this is the weirdest takeaway. McMullen is clearly a wackadoo corpo-vampire, someone who we know helped jack the price of food up through the past decade. He didn’t get where he is be “working his way up,” he hurts people.
*edit I just also want to add that I think McMullen’s choice of glasses frames is tacky, they look like someone left dentistry tools on his face.
Broadly decreasing my spending, personally. The less USD trade you do, the less you contribute to the colonial death machine. Trying to cut from megacorps first, and generally reduce all spending from there. The only money I am happy to spend is buying art directly from queer artists. Everything else is on the chopping block.
Aren’t they the guys who used to make that trash operating system? Weird that they are still around.
“Destroy Everything You Touch” is one of my favorite songs
Sure. My comment was intended to playfully criticize fantasizing about non-existent states, such as a Soviet Union existing fifty-ish years after its destruction. While I don’t think states should exist generally, I find it humorous that people imagine and then defend non-existent states, and I would be really happy if every state was simply a thought exercise. The meme would be equally funny to me if someone were lamenting the loss of Prussia or San Marino.
I do not agree with your characterization of my initial statements so I can’t argue with you, sorry.
“speed bump”
