Possibly, but some local police do have a policy of only giving ICE exactly the legally required room to operate, and no more.

Reporting ICE in every time creates opportunities for local law enforcement to catch ICE in any mistake. (Yes, I do realize the irony of this recommenation.)

ICE probably aren’t great about keeping everyone informed. They appear to, today, keep poor records intentionally.
