    You mean like Q Anon? That decentralized cult ended up storming the capitol a few years ago. Or maybe more like the NXIVM cult that still operates despite its leader being in jail? Or Scientologists which have successfully infiltrated many parts of Hollywood?

    It’s a thing that already exists.

    This is specifically why I’m convinced that the insurrection act is going to be invoked at some point, and then a bunch of the conservative militias will “pop up out of nowhere” and get deputized. And just like that, you’ve got your home-grown all-American neo-Sturmabteilung.
