a New York Times/Siena College poll of registered voters on Friday found that Trump’s approval rating is 42%, and just 29% among independent voters. More than half of voters said Trump is “exceeding the powers available to him”, and 59% of respondents said the president’s second term has been “scary”
Enough to start the process of eliminating the second amendment. I would imagine he has floated that a couple of times.
He already floated that in his first term.

Most people dont understand how many leaders have been assassinated by people from their own side. When fanatics become disenchanted with their hero’s fallibilities, they often turn just as fanatical against them. Then there are those that were drawn to the fame and power, and somehow think that will transfer to them.
That will work too. But let’s not gatekeep on this one. Equal opportunity and all.
I agree normal people won’t be involved, but I suspect it will come from his inner circle. Someone who thinks they can get maga support. Probably not one of his kids, another politician or businessman.
