Wasn’t there something from Axe (deodorant) that would have a girl on the desktop?

I wonder if she ever met Clippy…

So why would there be a market for fake ones? There’s no need for AI, since there’s already a product that accomplishes that.

Now, there will be a portion of people who will like to see that, but it will be a niche genre like anything else. Most are also free already.

Theres also already people who will do whatever you ask of them on video for a petty price. There’s just no market, other than for people who specifically want to it. Like hentai in general for example, it’s not for everyone.

Because the AI is faster to make, doesn’t have an artist or actor(ess) “wills and won’ts” filter, and can be specifically catered to the user for a fraction of the cost.

Will there still be a market for porn as it is now? Oh for sure. There will always be a market for the bespoke. Will AI porn take over the lower end market/mass market? Signs are pointing to yes.

But that is a completely different thing?

I mean you could even currently generate 2-3 Mins porn movies using AI.

I started to actually believe that in 5 years a lot of the money invested in Sex industries are going to be redirected to AI and Technology.

So it’ll be a genre like Hentai, it’s not gonna replace anything since most people want to see real bodies. Also, you can get people to do almost anything on video for a small payment already.

I see it as a genre.

I think you might misunderstood me a little.

There is currently AI porn that looks almost identical to normal porn.

The only difference is that it’s shorter and has small deficits, due to the imperfections of the current AI video generation technology.

If even the deficits got reduced to non noticeable levels, you would get a perfect AI porn generation at almost the tenth of the cost of producing porn movies.

You got me? We are almost months/less than 2 years away from the explosive use of this tech.

It’s a fair question. Why should the factory worker robots, the Johnny Cab drivers, the Amazon warehouse picker machines, the writerbots, the delivery drones, and the giant death robots get all the attention in the pages of the business press?

Spare a thought for the sex robots of the future. They will presumably be here soon, as AI takes over every aspect of life.

I’ve seen some discussion, but it is more geared towards how it may not be good for people consuming the services. Very few societies see sex work as a good thing, even if it is made to be equitable for those doing the sex work.

Sex robots/dolls aren’t realistic enough yet. I’ve seen several “attractive women” on Instagram that are entirely AI, but it’s not going to progress past that until a real physical body is good enough.

No matter what your job is, if you sit in front of a computer all day pushing buttons, it’s time to start looking for a new job.
