I wish I could take credit for these, lol. There’s a Quest 64 novelty account that makes them, and I’m just a fan of the memes.

I couldn’t actually figure out Quest 64 as a kid… It’s still sitting on a shelf upstairs with my old N64, unbeaten. Maybe I’ll join you in that adventure one day!

Funny thing, I couldn’t figure out how to use the higher tier magic you got from the stones you collected. I played the whole game using the base spells you got from the environment. I wish Google were around back then to figure that one out.

I tried quest 64 and booooy did i hate it. It needed to come up with a far better story of it wanted me to figure out it’s (at least for me at the time) punishing grindy game mechanics.

Yes i did return it to toys r us, that same day. I’m still mad about it apparently since i wrote all this

It’s not very good lol sorry to ruin the fun. Best description I’ve heard is “baby’s first RPG.” It’s fine, but it’s very simple/paint by numbers and the story/characters are very forgettable. Pretty good presentation for the time though.

Yea when it came out it got a lot of attention because us in the N64 camp were starved for a good RPG. Unfortunately it was just a lot of nothing.

I never even owned an N64. Still no need for the gun; I’ll quite happily play retro games with anyone, especially if it means enjoying the experience from the same room.

I had an ex who I loved to watch playing Xbox, but she was always paranoid that she was boring me. That couldn’t have been further from the truth!

Loved it to death as a kid, and I still listen to the OST every now and then. It has some great music! The first several songs are so unbelievably chill.

You know, Custom Robo is awesome. I’ll gladly sit down, play it and lament the fact there wasn’t a new once since the DS game. That’s way better than watching some random stuff on Netflix.
