Well, I’m no real fan of Russia or it’s repressive history, but they did kinda kill the nazis
After starting the whole WWII thing by allying with them, and only turned on the nazis after the nazis backstabbed them. And afterwards, occupied half of Europe.
I mean, I’m just saying they’re largely responsible for finishing the third reich off. Nothing else. Russia-lovers in the western world are a joke. The e-commie thing in its entirety is absurd. I get that, it’s just that they didn’t do it because they were the good guys, just because they got fucked over by the other group of bad guys, and slaughtered lots of their own people doing it.
When they didn’t like them anymore … It doesn’t forgive what they have been doing ever since. My country and many others have been ravaged and are still struggling with the ghost of communism. Thousands of people died in horrible conditions because of these so-called saviors.
And no I am not excusing what us has done in any way. They have their own sins to atone for. But between the russian drunken stupor of a society I’ll take the “depraved” west any day.
Same can be said of the US, however that’s no reason to think the other NATO members should not help Ukraine. BRICS is an umbrella term for several countries.

A bit alarming perhaps, but BRICS also has Egypt already part of it. Might be that Palestine likes the idea of having a close-by ally. Or Iran, as an enemy of Israel.
Egypt will likely oppose anything to do with the Palestinians joining any group they are in.
