Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts arrested by ICE

The Department of Homeland Security said that Dr. Ian Roberts, a native of Guyana, was ordered deported in 2024 and that he fled from police Friday.

“This action follows Dr. Ian Roberts being detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents this morning. We have no confirmed information as to why Dr. Roberts is being detained or the next potential steps,” the release states

      I vote no matter what. Even if I think the system is rigged. Because there’s a chance I’m wrong. Even if I don’t like the options.
