Yeah. Still using Plex since I am old head with a lifetime subscription I got for $50 on sale a decade ago. Though if not I hear jellyfin is the best now.
Use Unraid for my NAS and definitely going to upgrade to lifetime after I’ve used it for over a year now. Makes things super easy but it’s still Linux underneath so I can do whatever advanced thing I want when needed.
A nice NVMe cache drive, basic CPU, MB, some sticks of RAM, and a few multi TB HDDs and you can say goodbye to all streaming services for life.
