VTMB on steam deck

I keep reading how hard it is to get this game running. I’m still quite new to Linux. Whats the easiest way to get this game working?

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
No piracy, there are other communities for that.
Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
