Translation: Moving further right is the only option we have. Just stop being queer, an immigrant, or homeless and I’m sure you’ll be part enough of the majority to not be disposable politically. Some of you might need to be thrown to the wolves, but that is a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
And Im challenging your assertion. First, liberalism is not right of MAGA. Second, even a government run by people like Newsom would be a safer place for trans people.
Honestly, given how much the federal government will be destroyed by then, there will probably be more regular violence and more threat of civil war. We’re never going back to the stability or liberalism of the past, only an era of opportunists tearing the empire apart.
But yes, we won’t be as in danger for our identity as trans people, only more in danger like everyone else will generally be.
