The 3DS version is fantastic, although I really don’t like the updates they made to most of the boss fights. They changed the design for some of the bosses in a way that just feels out of place, thematically. But there’s so many other QoL improvements that I’d say it’s still worth playing over the N64 version.
Agreed, though for me I think the one thing I didn’t like about the 3DS version was the change made to Zora swimming. They reduced the base swim speed and made it so that you have to burn through magic to swim at the same speed as N64 Zora.
