It’s not desk work it’s outside in the heat and cold keeping the world going. And I think it’s a while off before Ai is replacing your ceiling fans and lights or plumbing repairs and fixing cars and machinery. Not to mention it pays reasonably well

I’m a diesel mechanic neither of us are ever scratching for work. The real downside though is I’m in my 30s and my body is falling apart due to being big and dumb in my late teens early 20s moving heavy shit by hand. The physicality of the job does take its toll on the body especially joints like knees and elbows.
In Australia we are screaming out for trades people.
