    It is not that simple. Usually tyre deg is so high that a single stop race is not possible. The temps were unusually low today and that meant deg was less and a one stop turned out to be the better strategy.

          I have to go back and look at the statistics but we’ve had a lot of one-stoppers the last two to three years. The two-stopper is almost always faster on paper but not always the best strategy, especially with all the dirty air.

          I want to say it was 2023 that the one-stop trend started?

            I am talking about hungary specifically. One stop is more popular in most tracks but hungaroring always has been two stops.

              Ah my bad! Yeah, over the last couple of years we have seen more and more tracks that were traditionally a two-stopper end up with the one-stop being better.
