The naming scheme we followed, is based on the first letter of the car’s brand—so for example, a Volvo gets a name starting with ‘V’, like Vincent.

I had an Opel Corsa B which I called “The Black Corsair” or sometimes “the nutshell” (which is an expression for a dingy tiny lil boat).
Then I had a Toyota Corolla '97 which I called “Aubergine” cause of its colour and because we sometimes call cheap cars cucumbers.
