the Ds voted for knowing full well it wasnt going to get released, and reps blocked it. the sudden change from both parties being silent on the issue, is extremely suspect. they made a deal behind the scenes knowing it will be blocked regardless as performative action.
Why did they do that? That is a really dumb strategy. The Republicans should’ve voted to release it so the Democrats would’ve had to vote to block it. Now the Republicans look like child molesters.
