Presumably, in this instance, by another mind outside the subject — though I would caution against the assumption that “control implies sentience” as humankind toys with a future wherein control is outsourced, at least in some part, to technology itself. 😶
Good point. Imo humans are just biological machines responding to stimulus so any stimulus is going to change the system somehow.
