    jokes aside, never give in to this logical fallacy :

    saying “IF you don’t want me to do something in the present/future THEN you should have made a different choice in the past” is stupid and logically inconsistent; causation does not flow backwards

    It would make sense to say “I am doing this to you BECAUSE it’s your fault”, which is logically valid but simply false in this case (could be true in other cases, think of self-defense)

    this exact rhetoric is used by rapists and bullies etc. to blame you for something they chose to do

      honestly awesome comment, kinda ‘explaining the joke’, except consciously i wouldnt recognise this as the reason its funny, but my brain did.
