I hate to be that guy and tell gou that I told you so but… From fifteen to about five years ago the left was quite happily bullying everyone and their mother if you’d step out of line and disagree with whatever the subject du jour was.
This basically caused the shift to the right for many people, they were sick and tired of the hostile attitudes that some groups on the left had
Mind you, I’m saying this as someone on the left though I’m sure some of you will already be preparing sone Nazi insults for me, because how dare anyone not have our backs, right?
I’m not saying either that this current bullish behavior is fine either, it’s also shit. I’m saying that lots on the left had the same attitude and it pretty much got us trump 1
Hoe about instead of complaining that you cannot be bullish anymore, take this as an example of how not to do it? When the left eventually gets power back, let’s be nice to everyone including those that might not directly agree with us
