Aww nice! Did you upload it to iNat?
Wow, incredible!
Wow, this sounds so cool!!! I made a faux black tea the other day using Chamaenerion angustifolium (I fermented it a bit as well). But it didn’t really come close to real tea for me. Maybe I’ll add something fragrant like you did to enhance the flavor a bit :)
What a nice post, thanks for sharing :)
Haven’t heard of the new jersey tea plant before (I’m European) but it sounds so cool! Do you use it for anything in particular? Like making tea?
Oh, good tip, will have a look. Thanks :)
Oh wow, you actually did it!! That’s so great to see :O I wish I had a blacklight, too. Would be great to attract some moths, too.
Ooh nice, would be nice if you could report back if you find anything :)
If you start looking for longer periods of time on any plant, you will see much more animals like spiders (and harvestmen) everywhere! :)
Wow, so cool!!
I just read in this fantastic book that many of the spiders “hiding” in flowers are actually brightly UV colored and even attract pollinators by giving the flower some extra shine. It may often seem to us like they blend in (because we cannot see UV light) but they might do something entirely different!
Also, sometimes it say “won” or lost" behind the candidates, sometimes there is an asterisk, but for many entries, there is no information who won and who lost?
Yeah, I feel that!
I’ve been using two different (refurbished) Pixel phones with CalyxOS for over 3 years now. It is a really great experience :) And the photos the phones can take are great, too!
Hard to spot and people might take it at face value.
What? That shouldn’t be any basis for consent! Only if someone is able to consent, i.e. emphatically say ‘yes’ (or otherwise agree), should you start thinking about doing anything sexual involving them. If you do anything sexual involving someone who cannot say ‘no’ then that is a sexual violation of them.
I wish we wouldn’t love under capitalism and creative people could just be creative for the greater good…
Like Nebula? I really enjoy it!
Yeah, especially since even self-driving cars prove to be a much bigger headache to accomplish than anticipated. If we cannot even figure those out in so many years, it will take even longer to add a whole other dimension to all the variability.
Fair point, I guess this would be a good reason to plot it like this. Maybe the author of the graph should have labeled it accordingly to avoid confusion though…
What a fun idea!
Is it on purpose that all clocks in this are coupled at the 3 o’clock position? I assume all the clocks go the same speed. Then the large clock and all the smaller clocks at the 3 o’clock position (there are 13 of them) would show the same time. E.g. in one hour, the 12 o’clock position would show 1 o’clock, but the large clock and all the clocks on the 3 o’clock position would show 4 o’clock.
Oh and why is it a clock squared if you have three layers of clocks? Isn’t it cubed then?
