Rock And Stone!

Rock And Stone!

Finally! Been waiting for a stable release since their roadmap. Really glad I don’t have to treat it as a very experimental service that breaks once a while anymore.
Huge thanks to all the contributors who made this possible.

The story is linear, but the gameplay can be less linear if you choose to mess around.
The map is basically a large area with many “zones” interconnected. You’ll have a desired zone to go to(by story requirement or upgrade collection), and you are free to route your drive there however you like(avoiding bad weather, choose zones with gas stations…).
As for how a round end, think of extraction games. You’ve collected a lot of parts for your next run, now you get out of there via the game’s extraction mechanic (This part is most fun since the game turn the heat up), you will end up safe’n sound in the garage if you succeed. Failing a run is rare on normal difficulty, you will keep ~ 40% of your loot in a failed run.
Each run is quite lengthy, you can pause & save mid-run in game. So if you want something that can just kill time, this game will do just that.

Pacific Drive!
The game got patched quite a few times and now it can hit a stable 30 (most of the time)(there will be dip into 25fps when things start exploding or under heavy acid rain).
Despite having to turn all graphical settings to the lowest, the sound effect and environmental eerieness still did a great job creating the atmosphere.
Overall, a drive or two on the deck feels awsome. And when you got bored, just put it to sleep and drive a real car.
I probably wont try “Video game between sessions”, I would just not go back to studying LOL.
As for the take more break & don’t expect too much part, I agree! Progress is progress.
Good luck on finding new mechanisms! Feels like experimentation & messups, are forever parts of our lives (more so on our quirky brains).
Nighttimes are quiet and calm. Perfect for study. But mayyy mess up sleep schedule quite a bit.
Perhaps its because we are good at “pretending to be focused”?
A lot of people said I give off the impression of a “good student” but deep down I wonder how fast people will figure out.XD
Having dependable/depended friends sure sounds like a good motivation.
I wonder how well this will work for math related subjects. Will definitely do this for Spanish learning though!
A lot of people mentioned Pomodoro timers, I should pick this one back up and use it in non-library studying.(To better motivate myself in different environment.)
As for music cueing, I almost forgot that I had an album that do just this! My mp3 got so many new music over the years, think I lose sight of what the mp3 was intended to do. (Less distraction + nice music to study)
Lastly, 5~4 class a semester? Yeah… feels like I should cut back on how many hard classes I tackle at a time. Currently 3 heavy class + 5 filler class(class that are easy but have homework on a per-week basis)。
Points taken, Thanks for the advice!

Witcher 3 :Blood & wine🍷 !
Ahhhhh. This Dlc is so long that I don’t even know where it ends. I really gotta stop doing every side quest I found(I grinded for house makeover & hearts of stone upgrades ) ,should focus on the main missions

When the amount of time management, task tracking, studying guide I found helpful have ADHD labeled on them… I started to connect past experiences together.
It got to the point where I just need an answer and get this question out of my system.
Got myself evaluated, and the rest is history.
For some people that can’t cut out Youtube entirely.
Leechblock + unhook + not logged in
Is a pretty decent combo. Both Leechblock and Unhook are browser plugins ment to crack down on doom scrooling(viewing).
As for keeping track of subscriptions, pen and paper is a good strategy.

Witcher 3 is such a long experience. Currently on the Blood and Wine DLC. Picking it up, clearing a side quest or two and then put the console back to sleep is such a good way to kill time.

Wow, talking about Rock and Stone!
What a high effort post. Enjoyed my read!

Gravity Circuit! This game captures the feel of Mega man Zero really well.
I recommend starting in hard mode since normal mode can easily be pushed through with upgrades.

Yeah… Zenfones were nice. Sad that ASUS didn’t put more effort into this product line.

Zenfone 11 and 12 are Gigantic in size.
8,9,10 Are small but not unlockable, also I think even ZF10 is reaching that 2 year software support too.
Pacific Drive, Whispers in the wood DLC.
Finally they added something that will actively chase you and act like a stalker type enemy(stop at nothing). You can crank up both your car and the enemy’s speed to make chasing super tense.
The atmosphere and sound design are even more spooky, fantastic stuff.
The story’s main character is a bit chatty, but I think sells the “mad cultist” impression pretty well.
Performance wise: Using lossless framegen 2x to pull the framerate up from 30 to 60. Pixel rendering in this game is cheap, so no amount of lowering resolution will boost much performance.
