1·6 days agoYes, I know the article is years old; that’s the point. They passed the law, and are now analysing the impact from it. As you said, they suffer from not being able to woo the top talent that doesn’t need to play the guessing game for compensation. But I’m not so optimistic to think they’ll just give in and stop their exploitative behavior. I guess we’ll continue to see…

3·7 days agoI think for me, personally, I bookmark sites at work I need to access regularly. As in, daily. At home, I don’t really visit the same sites. Or at least, it’s more infrequent, and fewer ones. So I just leave open a tab for Lemmy, Metacritic, HotLocalDwarfMilfs, Wikipedia, Spotify, etc. Even if my computer is restarted, Firefox saves them!
