If that had happened, I’d bet money they would have arrested clinic staff for assaulting an officer or some other bullshit charge. They already do this when police shoot innocent bystanders.

the fact that this is the worst-merchandised franchise in the world is incredibly annoying
I can’t agree with this more. It’s insane the disparity between ST merch and Star Wars merch. It’s like Trek stuff is always the “Wish version” of what the people behind Star Wars are putting out. Lego is a good example, they’ve put out hundreds of Star Wars sets over decades while Star Trek is relegated to the shitty knockoff Lego-clone companies who think they can charge as much as Lego for what they offer.
I just buy a cheap jumbo pack from Amazon. They’re like 15 bucks and last for years which is good enough for me.
Generally because you’re buying cheaper ones that aren’t built as well. Heat destroys LEDs and the cheap bulbs generally use fewer individual LEDs running at higher power to produce a given output in lumens. More expensive bulbs use more LEDs at lower power to achieve the same light output so that they’re not constantly being overdriven and last much longer.
So, if I understand this correctly, this woman is being sued by the state if California for making a list of bad cops using knowledge that she may have obtained prior to her working for the DA’s office? Isn’t that fucking special. What are they going to do about the bad cops?
Hey, that’s how old my baby boy turned today. What a coincidence!
I read that the ballots need to be printed within the next week so this ensures that the measure will be on the ballot in Missouri.
Id like to remind everyone the feds bailed out fucking cruise ships
Are you sure about that?
Also would you support our tax dollars going to cruise ships and/or people like Elon Musk just so that you can buy a brand new car? Why does everyone suddenly think new cars should be affordable for everyone in the country? I make decent money and always buy used because buying new is a losing proposition most of the time.
China isn’t trying to save the environment or stop climate change. This is 100% about undercutting the market and putting everyone else out of business so that everyone is reliant on them. They do this all the time in numerous industries. This is the same tactic that US companies like Walmart and Disney do to destroy their competitors too. People like you either refuse to see through the ploy or haven’t experienced it enough times to see it coming.
I dunno I haven’t really been excited for any of the games released over the last couple years. It seems like nothing but legacy games like COD/Battlefield/Destiny and a few gems like Elden Ring. Most of these big studios seem to be laying off employees or shutting down instead of releasing new games. Part of this is just me being burnt out on gaming, but with so many studios struggling, it seems like it’s more than just me feeling like this.
One major improvement with the PS5 is the instant loading times. I don’t think this thing will be any faster in that regard but it’s a major improvement over the PS4. The other improvement over my original PS4 is that it doesn’t sound like a jet engine after 20 minutes of running.
Ray tracing is cool but what console games are even using it at this point? It’s like them advertising “8K capable” as if anyone gives a shit about that during a time that 4k is just barely becoming the standard for most.
That probably just scraped off from the other plane like when a car leaves an imprint of their license plate during a crash.
People should be outraged by the fact that there was not a single recorded death from a car accident until Tesla came onto the scene.
When was the last time Ford or Chevy had a car that sold like hotcakes, EV or otherwise? Ford hasn’t even made a car in several years and focuses solely on SUVs/CUVs and trucks. Their only bread and butter is their passenger trucks, which aren’t even being threatened by EVs.
I work with a ton of engineers and their profession/title doesn’t mean they’re immune from being behind the times, misinformed, or just plain wrong about stuff they work with.
The Prius came out in 98/99 before Bush was even president (not to mention Obama).
Probably a decline as all other manufacturers selling in the US go out of business and hundreds of thousands of union jobs are lost, only for China to then jack up their prices.
I’m not a fan of Tabasco so I wholeheartedly say “nay.” If we’re talking classic Sriracha or something less vinegary, then by all means “yea”.
Remember when Netflix first started raising prices claiming it was all going to go toward new content that people would be excited for? That was years ago now and we’ve seen additional increases, along with ads, and blocking account sharing and their content still sucks for the most part.
Don’t forget to stock up on masks and toilet paper while you’re at it.
Ah, a new spin on the “I’m just asking questions” method of spreading FUD and propaganda.
