    There was an article I read somewhere about steering people with negative traits into careers that might benefit society despite their negativity.

    The example they used with narcissism in healthcare can blend in quite well because the importance and appreciation put on doctors and nurses for by (some of) the patients they’ve helped encourages them to do the same saving for others.

    If someone’s negative trait is they derive pleasure from inflicting pain on others, what career would be good for them? Slaughterhouse employee? I have no idea where to “steer” these people.

    However part of me wonders how many more of them would be out in the real world affecting real people if certain multiplayer games didn’t have them addicted…
