Also a Mighty user. It’s so much better than combustion. The smell is significantly less both in the surroundings and on your person. It’s more efficient, and with capsules, you can preload a bunch and be ready to load and go on a whim.

Manual cleaning is a pain, but it’s extremely simple if you get an ultrasonic cleaner. Disassemble the mouth piece, put it in a baggie covering completely in rubbing alcohol, let it run through the ultrasonic cleaner for less than 10 minutes, rinse and enjoy.

Jewelry ultrasonics can be purchased cheap. I went with a larger harbour freight unit and to me that was worth it. It’s also great for cleaning glass pipes too for the times you may want to rip it old school.

Seems a bit pricey, but I’m sure it’s effective. A bottle of iso will get me two or three cleans of two mouthpieces and the capsules, and it costs less than $5. There was the upfront for the ultrasonic which I think was around $80, but I also use it for other things outside of just by vape cleaning, like tools and stuff. Since I put my stuff in a baggie filled with the iso, and then put that in water, I don’t have any cross contamination.

It definitely is more expensive, especially compared to iso. It’s very effective, and reusable to a point, and while I might not get it again it’s been very useful and glad I tried it. Cheaper than ultrasonic but not as useful outside of cleaning smoking residue.

I would imagine the bath is also less hands-on, time to research ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I disassemble it while still warm and soak the parts in isopropyl for hours. I know some advise against that but I’ve done it for years without damage to the cooling unit.

The first couple times I cleaned, I did that. It never seemed to effectively get all the resin out of the corners. My ultrasonic cleaner will also heat the water, therefore heating the iso, doubling the effectiveness. The actual ultrasonic part means I don’t need to do any extra clean up and only takes 6 minutes. I run twice just to make sure though. The worst part of the whole process is 1. The initial disassemble because I don’t clean frequently enough and it’s a sticky mess, and 2. Drying everything off when I’m done so I can use it and getting antsy for the first super clean bowl.
